It's funny when you stop and think about the way you live your life and all the little things that you could change to make it better. I've begun that process, changing little things so that I can have a more positive outlook on the world. Things had gotten fairly terrible for a while, I had effectively lost everything; car, job, house, etc. But I have learned to live without those things and live well (though I am actively seeking work and my family has been hospitable enough to put me up until then, so no, I'm not quite on the streets yet). Living without a car is a learning process but I'm getting used to it.

That being said I am taking the next month to see if I can effectively write full time. Full time being greater or equal to seven hours a day. This will be a fairly difficult thing for me seeing as there are distractions just about everywhere and I enjoy those quite a bit. But as I've wanted to write full time since I can remember it will be a good test to see if I actually can.

So any writing contests out there I should know about? Anybody?

I also hope to start doing some photography this summer. John Stereoblind is currently hunting for a new studio to shoot at. Once he finds one I'm sure I'll find myself there a few times a week to model and hopefully shoot. Watch for gallery updates in the not too distant future and hopefully a website update as well.
